Step-by-Step Instructions

:::

Take a stencil and trace it onto your Wonder Under on the paper side. If you are doing initials or anything like that make sure you trace your stencil backwards or else your appliqué will be wrong. When your finished tracing it cut around the lines (not on the lines).
Take your  Wonder Under and lay it on the wrong side of the fabric. Take your iron on the hottest setting and iron it for about 5-10 seconds. It should stick right away.
Cut out your appliqué and it should look just like this.
Peel off the back of your appliqué and place it where you want it on the shirt. Put your iron on the hottest setting and with the steam on, iron the patch for 10-15 seconds or until it's stuck on the shirt.
Take your Tear Away Stabilizer and cut it in a square a little larger then the appliqué and slip it behind the appliqué onto the shirt (this is so your shirt won't pucker).
Pin the Tear Away Stabilizer to the shirt so it won't move.
Before you use the appliqué stitch you will need to make a straight 1" front and back stitch to make sure your thread is secure.

You will need to have your machine turned to the "Appliqué Stitch" -- mine is D on my machine. Put your thread spacing on the lowest dial.
When you put your shirt on the machine always keep the line of the appliqué in the middle of the pressure foot, like you see here. This is a guide to show you where to sew and is very important if you want your shirt to look perfect.
Start sewing by following the line of the appliqué. Make sure you don't pull the shirt just let it pull itself, or it will have spaces in the thread. When going around corners make sure you take your time, it can get tricky!

When you have to come to a stop and change directions make sure your needle is in the fabric so you can change directions but not loose your place and then lift up your pressure foot to move.
Move where you need to and then lower the pressure foot and start stitching where you left off.
When you are done going all the way around your appliqué, make sure you do a few front and back straight stitches before you cut the thread.
Tear your Tear Away Stabilizer off and then your done!
Here is the finished appliquéd shirt!
