All ribbon used is 3/8 inch grosgrain:

5 ½ inch (x3) for petals
4 ½ inch for clippie
3 ½ inch for leaf
½ inch button

Step-by-Step Instructions

To get started cut your ribbon and make sure to trim and heat seal the ends!

Fold all 5 ½ inch lengths in half.
Once you have found the center of the ribbon, fold over (one side at a time) to the middle and glue in place making a loop.
Repeat with the other side.
Do this to all three 5 ½ inch lengths.
Take one petal and lay flat (with right side facing you, right side is the side without the ribbon ends showing), take second petal at a slight angle and glue in place, ...
...same with the third.
Take button and glue to the center of the flower. I like to put the hot glue on the bottom first and then glue to the flower.
Take the 3 ½ inch ribbon for the green and fold over making a loop, glue ends together. Then take the leaf loop and glue to the wrong side of the flower.
Take 4 ½ inch ribbon and line clippie. Then place hot glue on the back of the flower and attach to clippie. Now you have a beautiful Button Flower!
