Step-by-Step Instructions

To begin, pre-cut all of your ribbon lengths as indicated above in the materials list. Then, line your alligator clip in whichever color you choose. I chose brown to look like the turkey’s body.
Form the 7.5" length of yellow ribbon into two loops, like a figure-8. Dab a small amount of hot glue in the center to hold the loops together. Glue the yellow loops to the clip, long sides together.

With the two pieces of orange and the piece of red 3/8" ribbon, form single loops and glue to the yellow piece,...

...placing them in a fan shape.

In this picture you see better how brown ribbon has been used to line the clip.

For the body, take the longer piece of brown ribbon and make a small loop at one end. The loop should be around 5/8” wide at the widest part. the loop should have a short tail and a long tail.

The short tail should be placed in the back of the loop. The longer tail will come back around and the top part of the ribbon should be glued to the back of the first loop.
Now take your shorter pieces of brown ribbon and make loops like you did for the tail, and glue them to the back side of the body, with the smaller in the middle. Glue the body to the “tail” that is already glued to the clip.
For the beak, use the 5/8" length of orange ribbon, and cut it in a V shape. Seal the sides! T
Fold the 1/8" red ribbon in half. Glue the ends together and the crease, to make it one solid piece. Glue the ends to the back side of the beak, ...
...and then fold the red piece over the beak, dabbing a small amount of glue to the front of the beak. Press the red ribbon down, gluing the beak to the “head” of the body.
You can add eyes if desired.

Please note, these instructions are made from my own experience in making this clip. I just wanted to clear that up before someone accused me of stealing their ideas.
